If you're like us, figuring out how to eat lighter is manageable for breakfast or dinner (and if not, check out our guides!), but when it comes to lunch, things get a little trickier. We know healthy doesn't have to mean boring, but it's easy to fall into a rut when you're packing your lunch 5 days a week+. Whether you're looking for salads or wraps, rice bowls or sandwiches, we've got a ton of healthy recipes here for you. Don't even get us started on the amount of money you'll save on takeout or delivery (win win!). Check out our 70 healthy packed lunches for ideas—once you start bringing these, you might never go back to boring, expensive lunches again.

We know health looks different to different people, so we've included options for every diet, like low-carb, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, and even low oil (thanks air fryer!). Looking for something low-carb? Try our Buffalo shrimp lettuce wraps, our taco tomatoes, our cheeseburger cabbage wraps, or our keto egg salad. They're full of flavor, but skip the bread and tortillas. Craving a plant-based lunch? Try our cauliflower Parm, our ultimate veggie sandwich, our vegan crunchwraps, or our beet reubens. Love a rice bowl? Us too. Get inspired by the flavors of our harvest chicken bowl, our Greek power bowl, our hot honey chicken & rice bowls, or our chirashi bowls (all the flavors you want from sushi, without the rolling). Swap in healthier, nutty brown rice when you can, and then swap in and out your favorite toppings 'til you find your perfect bowl. Looking for some lean protein for your lunch? Try our Greek salmon salad, our Thai chicken lettuce cups, or our chicken salad stuffed avocados. They'll help you feel full, and will keep you going 'til dinnertime.

Speaking of getting through 'til dinner, check out our healthy snacks for work. They're just the pick-me-up to get you through whatever your work day throws at you. Need something to carry it all in? Check out our top lunch containers too.

Curried Chickpea Salad

With this curried chickpea salad recipe, you have a simple, fast, meatless way to satisfy your craving for a curried chicken salad. Instead of the raisins you might find in the classic, we added fresh red bell pepper and red onion for some vegetal sweetness and a bit of bite. Yum!

Copycat Chicken Lettuce Wraps

In our attempt to copy the fan favorite from PF. Chang's, we flavored ground chicken with hoisin sauce (a fermented bean paste that gives the chicken the quintessential Chinese-American flavor), soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sriracha, and sesame oil. Water chestnuts add a nice crunch here, too.

Hearty Stuffed Peppers

The bell pepper is an excellent vessel for stuffing meat, rice, and, of course, cheese. It's strong enough to hold its shape in the oven, and the flavor is subtle enough to go well with just about anything. This is our favorite recipe but the customization options are endless.

Greek Salmon Salad

Whenever we're craving a salad (or just know we should be eating more of them), we're looking for something super fresh and crisp with lots of flavor. This gorgeous salad is hearty enough to be dinner, which means it'll get you through even the longest of workdays for lunch too. While the salmon is cooking, you can get all of your veggie chopping done too, and it'll all come together in less than 30 minutes.

Avocado Chicken Salad

We love this salad served on top of greens as much as we love it between two slices of sourdough bread. If you can't find a good ripe mango, pineapple would be delicious as well!

Vegan Crunchwraps

We updated the fast food favorite to be totally vegan and completely irresistible. Creamy vegan queso dip and meaty lentils make a satisfying filling while a quick trip in a hot skillet adds crunch to every bite.

Perfect Fish Tacos

The fish—we use cod, but any flaky variety, like tilapia, works—marinates in a mixture of lime juice, chili powder, and cumin that will become your standard. But the real gem of this recipe is the cabbage slaw—don't skip it. It takes just a few minutes to toss together and its brightness is the perfect condiment to the spiced cod.

Rainbow Roll

Rainbow rolls include a lot of elements of traditional Japanese sushi—seasoned rice, raw fish, nori—but the composition is definitely Americanized. This inside-out roll (or uramaki) has rice on the outside, while the sheet of nori on the inside holds the avocado, cucumber, and crab in place. Top your rolls with sushi-grade fish, or get creative and try thinly sliced avocado, roasted red peppers, or smoked salmon.

Air Fryer Cauliflower Tacos

To get extra crispy "fried" cauliflower, you gotta use your air fryer. This recipe is basically the vegan version of our favorite fish tacos. The finishing touch? A quick and easy pickled slaw for a bite of freshness and a spicy mayo for a touch of heat.

Best-Ever Black Bean Burgers

Finding alternatives to meat can be hard, but we think these burgers really nail it. The secret? Stop trying to make them taste like beef, and focus on the flavor! Once you make your own, you might never go back to boxed.

Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Salad

Cucumbers, tomato, feta, olives, and avocado combine to create a salad that may just be your go-to office lunch from here on out. Hot tip for taking this salad to go: Ditch the whisking and throw all the dressing ingredients into a jar or small tupperware. Right before you eat, give the jar a good shake and you will have a perfectly emulsified vinaigrette.

Mediterranean Chickpea Salad

This summer-friendly recipe uses canned chickpeas, meaning it comes together in less than 30 minutes. 😎 Our lemon-parsley vinaigrette here is perfectly tart and fresh with a hint of spice, and you're going to want to put it on everything.

Best-Ever Farro Salad

With pecans, Parm, green apples, and leafy arugula, this salad really feels like a full meal—AKA a make-ahead lunch dream. It's got ALL the elements you need: sweet, salty, soft, crunchy, fatty, fresh, but feel free to make it your own with your preferred mix-ins too.

Collard Wrap Bento Boxes

We're newly obsessed with collard greens—they're not as flimsy as, say, romaine, so you can create a hefty wrap with them. If you'd rather use another green, cabbage could totally work here. You just need something strong enough to hold up to hearty fillings like veggies, hummus, and tofu or chicken .

Taco Tomatoes

We're all for a genius low-carb hack—and these tomatoes totally deliver. We had never thought to stuff them with taco meat, cheese, and sour cream, but we'll do anything in the name of ditching a tortilla for a low-carb meal. You can change up the fillings for cheeseburger tomatoes, too.

Shrimp and Snow Pea Stir-fry

This dinner is the perfect fix for a busy weekday lunch. Only 5 ingredients and 1 skillet and you're on your way! Allowing the shrimp some time to marinate adds an extra layer of flavor to really make those 5 ingredients stretch. But DON'T let that stop the imagination from flowing—just like you can swap the ingredients, you can add more as well.

Cauliflower Parm

Chicken Parmesan is absolutely incredible, but it can be a bit heavy. When you're trying to be healthy, but are really craving good Italian food, make this vegetarian cauliflower dish. You won't be disappointed.

Keto Egg Salad

Classic egg salad is usually keto-friendly as it is. But because fat=good, we added an extra creamy, but healthy element: avocado! The whole thing tastes nice and fresh but trust us, it'll really fill you up—even in a lettuce cup. Do we recommend serving it with crispy bacon? Of course we do.
